Your Role:

Choose your own adventure! Let’s talk about how your skills, experience, goals, and passions can find a home at JLR. Your role will include:

  • Working collaboratively with internal design teams, subconsultants, clients, and contractors to develop structural models and drawings from concept design to completion.
  • Developing and communicating ideas utilizing a design process and collaboration model that includes a wide range of tools, such as sketching, 2D and 3D modelling, and incorporating photorealistic 3D reality capture and virtual reality technologies to provide graphic clarity.
  • Assisting engineers, architects, and technologists with project execution during all project phases.
  • Coordinating with other disciplines on multidisciplinary projects.
  • Coordinating with other consultants’ building information modelling (BIM) models.
  • Working with project managers to align production team efforts to meet submission dates.
  • Staying current with industry standards and best practices related to BIM, including understanding the landscape of cloud-based BIM programs.
  • Potentially travelling between JLR offices and project sites across Ontario, Canada, and around the world, as required, to meet the needs of various projects.
