JLR is assisted the Township of Georgian Bluffs (Township) with updating their Official Plan to reflect the current policy and regulatory requirements in the Planning Act, the Provincial Policy Statement, the Niagara Escarpment Plan, the County of Grey Official Plan, and other applicable planning legislation and documents. In addition, JLR assisted the Township to incorporate 10 amendments, update its mapping, and provide new and updated policy for second dwelling units, cannabis, short-term rentals, climate change, Indigenous peoples, affordable and attainable housing, parkland dedication, development charges, source water protection, and servicing requirements. Scope has been added recently to address the 2024 Provincial Planning Statement and changes brought about by Bill 185.
